Crystal was born in Ohio, though she grew up on Florida’s Space Coast- in Merritt Island, FL. In 1997, Crystal graduated from The University of Florida cum laude as an Anderson Scholar with a Bachelor of Arts in English and minor in Criminal Justice. She earned her Juris Doctorate from University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2000. While at law school, she was a member of The Journal of Law and Public Policy. Crystal was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001. After graduating from law school, she obtained a position as a state attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit where she worked as the lead attorney for juvenile cases in Pasco County.

Since 2003, Crystal has exclusively defended Employers, Insurance Companies, Third Party Administrators and Professional Employer Organizations in workers’ compensation claims.

During this time, Crystal worked with various skilled nursing care facilities regarding not only primarily workers’ compensation matters, but also professional negligence and employment related matters- and thus developed a unique interest in the representation of nursing home facilities.

Crystal resides in South Tampa and is happily married to her husband, James. She is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers, and UF Alumni Association. Crystal is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Florida. She is an active member of the Florida Bar.
